Grades 6–8
Creationeering™ Course
The only faith-based engineering course built for homeschool families — hands-on lab kit included.
Founding family pricing · Full access begins August 17, 2026
90 Hours
Roughly 90 hours of total content, built to fit your calendar. Spread it over a full year at about 2.5 hours a week, or finish in one semester at around 5. Either way, you set the pace.
Mousetrap Car Build Kit
Students design, build, test, and refine a mousetrap-powered car using the Creationeering method. Everything they need comes in a single kit, shipped to your home.
Engaging Lessons
Short, engaging videos teach each concept, reinforced by interactive readings, quizzes, and mini-games. Students journal what they learn, with an AI tutor available anytime to guide them through tricky spots.
Self-Paced, No Expiry
Start any time. Work any schedule. There are no cohorts, no live sessions, and no deadline. The course is yours to keep.

Built for your family
Most engineering programs were designed for classrooms with trained teachers, lab budgets, and daily periods. Genesis K-12 was designed for a parent at the kitchen table who wants to give their student quality STEM education without having to be an engineer themselves.
No prior engineering knowledge required
Designed for any pace. At roughly 90 hours of total content, this course can be completed on an 18 or 36 week schedule.
Open-and-go from day one
Lesson plans, pacing guide, and materials are built in. You open the lesson, assign it, and walk away. There's no grading prep, no worksheet assembly, and no separate teacher guide to read.
Designed for independent learners
Every lesson is written for the student to follow independently, with an AI tutor available if they get stuck. (AI tutor access can be disabled by the parent at any time).
Half the course is hands-on
Not screen time — actual building. Students work with their hands on a real engineering project across every module. The kit contains every part they need from day one.
Faith is woven in, not bolted on
Every module draws intentional connections between engineering and the Bible. It's not a devotional add-on — it's integral to how the Creationeering™ framework teaches students to think.
Works for any homeschool setup
Single student. Co-op. Multiple kids at different paces. Church group. The course is flexible enough for any configuration and parent-friendly enough to actually stick.

Engineering that starts with the premise God created everything.
The Creationeering™ framework — developed by Dr. Mark Horstemeyer — teaches engineering through a Biblical lens. Not as a devotional add-on at the end of each unit, but as the organizing principle behind how students learn to observe, analyze, and design.
Observation
Students learn to look at the natural world the way God designed it — as a system of patterns, principles, and purposes waiting to be understood.
Design
Creationeering™ teaches students to study existing designs in nature and build on them. Bio-inspired engineering, grounded in faith.
Stewardship
The Decommissioning module — unique to this curriculum — teaches students that responsible engineering accounts for the full life cycle of what they build.

Dean Emeritus · Liberty University School of Engineering
Dr. Horstemeyer earned his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech and spent over a decade as a Senior Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories. He is an elected AAAS Fellow whose research in bio-inspired design — engineering solutions drawn from patterns in God's creation — forms the scientific and spiritual foundation of every Creationeering lesson.
“God is the Master Engineer. The Creationeering system helps students recognize His designs and emulate them in their own creations. ”Learn more about Dr. Horstemeyer →
The curriculum
9 modules. 90 hours. One complete course.
Each module follows the Creationeering™ framework — theory lessons paired with hands-on labs, so students apply what they learn as they go.
1Thinking Like an Engineer16 lessons+
Students learn what engineers actually do — how they observe the world, define problems, and approach solutions systematically. The Creationeering™ framework is introduced, connecting engineering practice to a biblical worldview from lesson one.
2Design14 lessons+
From sketching to prototyping, students learn the design process end-to-end. They practice iterative thinking — why great engineers don't get it right the first time, and why that's exactly the point.
3Analysis & Synthesis22 lessons+
The most content-rich module. Students apply math and science to analyze real engineering systems — forces, motion, energy — and synthesize what they've learned into design decisions for the Mousetrap Car Build.
4Procurement11 lessons+
Every engineer works within constraints. Students learn how materials are sourced, evaluated, and selected — connecting supply chain thinking to real project decisions.
5Fabrication7 lessons+
Hands on from day one. Students begin physically building their mousetrap car, applying what they've learned about materials and tolerances to a real product.
6Logistics18 lessons+
Engineering doesn't happen in a vacuum. This module covers how projects are planned, scheduled, and managed — skills that matter in the lab and in life.
7Assembly18 lessons+
The build intensifies. Students assemble their mousetrap car component by component, learning how each design decision from earlier modules affects what they can build now.
8Performance18 lessons+
Cars are tested. Students measure, record, and evaluate performance data — then iterate. This is where engineering thinking meets real results.
9Decommissioning35 lessons+
The most expansive module, and the one most schools skip entirely. Students learn what happens at the end of a product's life — sustainability, materials recovery, and what responsible engineering looks like. Includes the full culminating project.
