Updated September 25, 2026. Section 1 now names the company you are agreeing with, Genesis K12 Academy LLC. Section 6 replaces our old case-by-case refund wording with our 2-Module Guarantee, and adds our Replacement Promise for a broken or missing part or a kit lost in transit. Section 11 is new and says which state's law governs these terms. We also removed a line describing an AI study assistant, which is switched off.
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Genesis K12 Academy LLC ("we" or "us"), which operates Genesis K-12 Academy ("the Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including parents, guardians, and student accounts.
Genesis K-12 Academy provides a faith-based homeschool engineering curriculum for middle school students, including video lessons, interactive content, and lab activities. Access requires a paid enrollment.
Parents and guardians create the primary account. Student accounts are created by and linked to a parent account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.
By accepting these terms, parents and guardians confirm they are at least 18 years old and consent to the collection and use of data as described in our Privacy Policy, including on behalf of any student under their account. No student under 13 may create an independent account without a linked parent account.
You agree not to: (a) share account credentials with non-enrolled users; (b) reproduce or distribute course content without written permission; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Platform; or (d) use the Platform's AI features to generate content unrelated to the enrolled curriculum.
Enrollment fees are processed through Stripe. The Platform bundle includes access to all enrolled courses and any included physical kit shipment.
Our 2-Module Guarantee. Work through the first two modules of the course with your student. If it is not right for your family, you may ask for a refund any time after that, while your course access is active. To ask, email us at team@gk12academy.com. You return the lab kit (partly used is fine) and cover the return shipping. We refund the full purchase price, and course access ends when the refund is issued.
Our Replacement Promise. If a part in your lab kit arrives broken or is missing, email us and we will replace it. If your kit is lost in transit, we will reship it.

All course content, lesson materials, interactive widgets, and branding are owned by Genesis K12 Academy LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright. Your enrollment grants a limited, non-transferable license to access the content for personal educational use only.
The Platform is provided "as is." We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Platform will be error-free at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Genesis K12 Academy LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify enrolled users of material changes via email.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
