Creationeering Framework

Created by Dr. Mark Horstemeyer, Creationeering is a Biblically based framework that integrates engineering and business to help students design, build, and bring useful ideas to life.

FAQ

I never took engineering. Can I actually run this?

You do not teach it. Dr. Horstemeyer introduces each topic and the written, interactive lessons do the teaching. Your job is about ten minutes a week: the Parent Guide System gives you a weekly to-do list and a concept sheet, and the lessons grade themselves into your parent dashboard.

Is this real engineering or crafts?

It is the same 8-step design process used in university engineering programs, taught by an AAAS-Fellow engineer, with rubrics, an engineering vocabulary scope, and a design notebook your student keeps like a working engineer. See the sample lesson before you pay a dollar.

Will it stay Biblically sound?

The course is built on Creationeering, Dr. Horstemeyer's framework for engineering within God's design. Our statement of faith and a full sample lesson are public. You will never have to quietly re-interpret a lesson.

What happens after I pay?

You get access to the course the moment you enroll, and your kit ships to your door within 5 business days. The Fast-Start Guide fills the gap between checkout and the kit hitting the table, so nobody is paying and then just waiting.

Is this a subscription? How long do we have access?

One-time purchase, no auto-renewal, ever. The kit is yours to keep, and course access runs a full 18 months, so a mid-year start or a slow semester never costs you the course.

What grade levels is this designed for?

Our current Creationeering course is designed for students in grades 6-8 (ages 11-14), with grades 9-12 and 3-5 coming soon. The content assumes no prior engineering experience.

What is included in the lab kit?

Your enrollment includes a Mousetrap Car Build kit that we ship to you. It contains all the parts needed to build and iterate on a mousetrap-powered car: frame rails, connectors, axles, and more. The Creationeering theory lessons are fully digital.

Is this self-paced? Can we start any time?

Yes. The course is fully self-paced, with no scheduled sessions and no cohorts. You can start the day your kit arrives and work on your own schedule.

What if we don't love it?

Work through the first two modules with your student. If you do not see real engineering, real teaching, and a kid who wants more, email us any time after you finish module 2 and we refund every dollar. You return the kit and cover return shipping.
